SkyDrive for Mac–Hiding Icon While Running

The new and improved SkyDrive is Microsoft’s answer to Dropbox.  The new version of SkyDrive includes a free upgrade to 25GB for those that already had an account and 7GB for those with new accounts.   You can download the Mac version of SkyDrive here.
After installing the Mac version, however, you may notice that you cannot hide the app icon while running.  There is a work around for this right now.
  1. Close any running instances of SkyDrive
  2. Open Terminal
  3. Type: defaults write /Applications/SkyDrive.app/Contents/Info.plist LSUIElement 1
  4. You may need to restart the client or machine if SkyDrive was running.
